It turned out to be a cut cable.  Our landscaper was edging and cut it in two places.  Google fiber outsourced service had me back up and running in 3 hours.  Very pleased!

@mrthink, I appreciate you sharing the specifics of why you lost your internet. I'm glad to know our Google Fiber team was able to get your internet back on track. Hope this never happens again.

 

@IndraThiru and @lucasortega2, I know the struggles when the internet is not working. I'd like to ask some questions: does your modem have an internet connection? Were there any recent power outages in your area? Has your Google Nest Wifi router been set up before or is it new?

 

Make sure your modem has an internet source. Connect the Ethernet cable securely to your modem and to your primary router's WAN port. Check out this support website to learn more: Fix your Google Nest Wifi or Google Wifi network.
