Nest Wifi Pro 3 pack showing 3 connections on printer UI

Hello!

I recently installed a Nest Wifi pro 3 pack in my home. My canon laser printer which has been working well until now, is no longer discoverable by any of my LAN/WAN devices since connecting it to the wifi pro.

I disabled the wifi on my modem/router but when attempting to connect to the WAN it shows 3 separate connections all showing my network name. It shows "(SSID)1"  times and then "(SSID)6" 1 time. Is there a setting on the Pro that causes this to happen instead of a single network being shown? Hardwire isn't currently an option until I snake another Ethernet and can't seem to figure it out. Thanks for reading

Hello @TheBigL42

The issue here is really that the printer has not been designed to operate in a network where multiple access points are advertising the same network name (SSID). It may still work, though – just try picking one of those and enter your Nest WiFi Pro system's network password. It will likely connect just fine and will then be part of the new network created by your Nest WiFi Pro system and become visible to other devices on that network. Unfortunately, this may mean picking one of the options at random without knowing how strong the signal quality will actually be. Ideally, connecting it to your Nest WiFi Pro system via Ethernet will provide a better solution.

Thanks for the reply! I was able to do some re-configuring to the wiring and get the desktop connected to the printer consistently now. I actually used some of your advice from another post you answered. You had mentioned an "inner network" and "outer network" and that was the ticket to the desktop issue. For the remote access issue I think i'll need to contact Canon, but I very much appreciate your help and insight!
