I'm having a weird issue recently (~3 weeks) where my nest wifi keeps dropping the wifi connection.
Bought the system new about 3 years ago and it had been working great. Nothing has changed for years on our end.
Every time I turn my computer on, which is hard-wired ethernet into the router, the wifi drops. The router stays on, but the wifi just goes away. Only way to get it back is to pull the power to the router and restart it.
Checked my modem as well, and as far as I can tell, no issues. Xfinity constantly showing good connection to it. Tried with a different modem (Arris Surfboard 8200) and the result is the same.
Additionally on the same timeline, my laptop will connect to the wifi but it shows as no internet no matter what I do. The laptop will connect to the node external wifi network ("Homenetwork_EXT) and will have internet just fine.
Other devices are having inconsistent issues connecting to the main router as well recently.
I'm not sure what's going on and it's getting a bit old. Wiped the system and tried a full reset a couple times, same deal. Router/nodes firmware is updated, all device network drivers are up to date. I'm at a loss and not sure what to do besides scrap this system unless someone can point me in the right direction!
