Hi,
Today fiber was installed at my home with a speed of 4Gb/s. Of ourse I want to get the best speed possible. I already owned a Google nest Wifi pro mesh which works good throughout my house. The way that is is set up is that I have the main unit connected to my modem and I have a switch connected to the main unit. I have several wireless satellites but this switch I also have a lan network to three other Google Wifi pro satellites. Here I want to make use of the 4Gb speed of possible. So the switch has 2 10Gb ports and 4 2.5Gb ports. So now the 4Gb port of the modem goes into the Google main unit and from there it goes into the 10Gb port of the switch. This however doesn't bring me the speed. Could I connect the modems 4Gb port to the 10Gb port of the switch and connect my modem to the switch? Or is there another way I can solve this? Thanks

Hello @Garcon17
The Ethernet ports on Nest WiFi Pro support 1Gbps at the most. Honestly, if you really want a faster internet connection, I would look for another router/firewall/WiFi solution instead of Nest WiFi Pro. Connecting a high speed switch outside of your primary Nest WiFi Pro (which is your router+firewall) would bypass the 1Gbps bottleneck, but would have significant impacts on security and the topology of the network. I would advise against that.
