Nest wifi randomly goes offline

Nest hubs keep going offline. Getting some Google help is virtually impossible.

I have confirmed it’s not my internet provider.

I have done all the usual trouble shooting tips. I suspect it’s the router itself….. but who knows.

how do I get this sorted?

I have the older Google Wifi hubs and 2 keeps going offline lately. Pull the power and reboot, goes online for a while than right back offline

Not fun

Try disabling IPV6 in the advanced networking settings, and also try setting the DNS to custom (still point to google's DNS)

Hi, Justhelpme.

Sorry about the connection issues you're seeing. Did you happen to see deathkraiser's suggestion here? Is that something you have tried yet?

Thanks.

First trying others' suggestions to disable gaming and video conference preference. I did that yesterday. Now I have to wait a few days to see if it works.

Hi, ph0enix. Yes, in some setups disabling preferred activities can help. If anyone is seeing an issue and have preferred activities set up, try clearing those out from the Home app. On the other hand, you can try setting some to see if the opposite is true for your situation.

Thanks.
