No internet connected to docking station

Hi

I just received a new laptop and dock from work, both Dell. My computer connects to the wifi and internet no problem, but when I plug my laptop into the dock it shows me connected to my wifi but with no internet. When I test it at work it connects to that wifi and internet no problem (through the dock)

Everything worked fine with my previous laptop + combination (Lenovo).

Any suggestions?

This sounds like an issue with the Dell laptop / docking station.  I know some dell laptops have a setting in the bios to disable wifi when docked, you should check for that option to see if that could be the issue.
