No wifi through nest

Internet works via hardwired ethernet.  The nest first glows blue, then pulses blue, then pulses red. No wifi.  What does it mean?

What the light means:

Sounds like it needs a factory reset using the physical button.

If that does not help it might be dead.

Actually, I finally figured out that the issue was a bad Google Nest.  Once I replaced that Nest (that was the main distributor) and did a factory reset the system worked again.  BTW, everything I've learned about computers took 1 or 2 hours.  To check the modem I realized that I could plug the ethernet cable directly into my laptop.  Since it worked, I knew the problem was in the mesh system.  Thanks for the reply!
