I set up this network 6 months ago in a 2100 sq ft house using one router (at the back of the house) and one point at the front of the house. Since day one, when testing the mesh network, it has always shown a great connection. Despite never having moved either device since that time, the mesh test is now showing that my connection is weak. I have tried restarting the point device and moving it closer, yet the mesh test still shows weak. Any suggestions for further diagnosis/repair?

Hello @MK
While it is within the realm of possibility that the hardware has degraded somehow, it's more likely some change in the environment is causing a loss of signal quality compared to before. Any new furniture (especially something dense or made of metal) or any new wireless devices (things like cordless phone systems, wireless subwoofers or wireless surround sound systems, wireless gaming headsets, etc.) near any of your Google/Nest WiFi units?

Michael - thanks for the quick reply. No changes whatsoever like you mention, however after multiple reboots and a couple of factory resets, the issue has been resolved. Thanks again.
