Port Forwarding Issues

I cannot add a port under port management. There is no (+) button. I go to my device > device settings > network settings > advanced networking > port management, and the only things there are toggles for Nest Wifi Cloud Services and Wifi Router and Point Usage Stats.

Hi Aceaid,

 

Rather than attempting to change the port forwarding settings in Privacy Settings, you should be doing it in your Advanced Networking settings. Here is an article that details the steps for you: https://goo.gle/2xmeBA4.

 

Try the process using those steps and let me know if you have any troubles.

Hi Jeff,

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, it wasn't very helpful because I am not clicking privacy settings. For some reason, when I click "Port Management," it redirects me to Privacy Settings in the app. Attached is a youtube link to a video for a more thorough explanation (I cannot upload the video file directly). 

I have read that article, and my issue is Port Management redirects to Privacy Settings.

Thanks for sharing the video, Aceaid.

 

Based on that, I think the app is having some issues. Let's start with a couple of easy troubleshooting steps. Go into the app management, and clear the Google Home app's cache. Start up the app and try the process again. If it still redirects you to the wrong menu, let me know. I just checked my own app, and I'm reaching the port fowarding/opening settings, so it doesn't appear to be a larger app bug for the moment.
