Static IP doesn't show up: can't set DHCP IP reservation: Solution?

Using a Nest Wifi, I'm struggling to add a DCHP IP reservation to my managed D-Link DGS-1100-05V2 Gigabit Ethernet Switch. When looking for the switch inside the Google Home app, it doesn't show up in the list of all the connected devices despite it being online and fully functioning within the same network as Nest Wifi. Here are the details:

  • The Nest Wifi uses IP 192.168.68.1, with a netmask of 255.255.255.0.
  • The Nest Wifi's DCHP interval is 192.168.68.20 to 192.168.68.255.
  • The D-Link switch is set to DHCP mode (following the manual).
  • The D-Link switch's built-in web interface works flawlessly.
  • The traffic sent through the D-Link switch also works flawlessly.

All in all, it seems as if the D-Link switch works as intended. However, and for some reason, the Nest Wifi doesn't detect it. For that reason, I can't add it to the list of reserved IP addresses.

Can someone here please help me out? Thank you in advance!
