Weak connection with Google Nest Pro mesh

If I go on Google Home, I can see all 3 Google Nest Wifi Pro devices and they all say great connection. When I run a speed test, I get fantastic speeds. When I run a mesh test, it reports everything is working great. I have a 3 story home and my Quantum fiber modem & router which is cable connected to 1st mesh point is on the1st floor. Each floor has it's own Nest Wifi Pro device. My office is on the 2nd  floor and within 8 feet of the Nest wifi device.  My computer drops several times an hour. I only show 2 out of 4 bars for strength. When I change the wifi to the fiber router on the 1st floor, I have 3 out of 4 bars. My signal strength on the 3rd floor with the Nest Wifi Pro is also only 2 out of 4 bars with lots of drops due to a weak connection.  I have disconnected everything for 5 minutes and disconnected ethernet cables as well. What could I be doing wrong?

similar issue - the mesh points keep dropping connection and in the google home app it says offline or disconnected; there is some bug because when I try to cast music to any of the mesh endpoints its streams music just fine. Ours is a 4 endpoint mesh system purchased from costco in 2020

Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out to the community @NotaPro  and @ktransformers. I am sorry to hear that you have a weak connection with the Google Nest Pro mesh, but do not worry; help is here. We appreciate all of your previous troubleshooting efforts. To provide you with a more effective resolution, I need to know a few details about your Nest Wi-Fi.

  • Can any clients or devices connect wirelessly?
  • Does the thermostat display show any error codes or messages?
  • When did the issue first occur?
  • Are all devices affected?
  • Do you use a modem and router combo?
  • How far is your device from the primary point?
  • Do you see a blinking LED light? If so, is it red or green?
  • How far are the Wi-Fi points from each other?

I'll be waiting for your response; any additional details you can provide will be helpful.

Best regards,

Jeremy.
