Hi,
I have been reading many similar posts but have been unable to find a permanent solution to my problem.
I have two wifi pro routers in my house, one hardwired to my fibre modem and the other as a booster. The network speeds I get throughout my house on my iPhone, iPad, android and windows laptop fluctuate wildly every day. Some days the speed is 300-400mbps and some days it is down to 5-8mbps. Luckily the speed is consistent across all devices…either all are really fast or really slow.
When the speed is slow, I just need to do a network reset and the speeds increase. But that is really annoying to have to do everyday. I read one post where a guy programmed a power bar to cycle power on and off throughout the day to keep network speeds up. That seems excessive. Any idea why the network speed varies from day to day and why a daily reset is needed to fix it?
For reference, I always check the modem speed as well to make sure the issue is not with the fibre. The speed at the modem is 600mbps every single time! Why can’t this Google wifi pro be that reliable?
