connecting hp printer to nest

I am having to work from home and I have the Nest extender. My computer automatically connects to it, but my printer will not. The printer will connect to my main router, but the signal is not strong enough, hence is why I have the extender. Please help. I have the HP Smart Tank 7301

To gather more details, I'd like to ask the following questions:

  • What's your Nest device model? Please check out the following link for your reference: What Google Nest Wifi device do I have?
  • Are the main router and the Nest device using the same network name (SSID) and password?
  • When you try to connect the printer to your Nest device, does it display any error messages?
  • Have you tried manually entering the extender's network details into the printer's Wi-Fi setup?
