I'm having trouble with my Nest Mesh. Most of the time it's fine, but there are times when streaming just grinds to a halt.
We have Fios internet, and the mesh consistently in the 850-900 Mbps down and 850-900 Mbps up so speed outside network doesn't seem to be an issue.
We have a Chromecast 4k on our main TV and a coupld of Fire Sticks on other TVs. We've also got quite a few Light switches Echos. shows, and such, but they don't seem to be doing much at any time.
My wife and I both work from home, and we've both seen that our machine connectivity just crawls as soon as my son starts watching YouTube on the Chromecast. Zoom/Google Meet is impossible to use. I'd like to see the detailed network usage so I can see if I can truly Identify the culprit.
Any assistance appreciated.

There are no logs easily available to us. But there are some APIs that might give some insight. Related threads from the past with more info:
Other things to consider. Avoid double NAT, put ISP equipment in bridge mode/bypass mode.
Think about placement and how many Nest Wifi units you have:
Consider wired backhaul (ethernet cable) between Nest Wifi units, if you have more units with ethernet ports.

Thanks @RachelGomez123 - I've already done a full Network check and everything is good. It's 100% fine unless my son starts watching YouTube on a streaming device. Then it crawls. Have already tried offloading and re-loading YouTube, re-setting everything, etc. Already running a mesh that tests out great.

Hey folks,
I appreciate your help, @RachelGomez123.
Thanks for sharing more information about your network, @mmatonis. Please let me know what streaming device your son is using to access YouTube. Check if the internet speed slows down as well when you watch YouTube videos using phones or laptops.
Looking forward to your response.
Thanks,
Lovely

It seems to happen when he's on our Chromcast 4k, or a FireStick. Doesn't seem to be a problem when we use Laptop or Phone which is why I wanted to look at the logs in the first place.

Hello mmatonis,
Have you tried to reboot the Chromecast 4K and Fire Stick? How about when doing a factory reset on them? Try to disable Preferred Activities as well. If you've already disabled it, just toggle it on and then off.
Let me know once you're done.
Best,
Lovely

Yes - I've re-set and rebooted both streaming devices several times. Will try the Preferred activities.
