Developer Console > Matter > Verify VID does not work

We plan to start a field test for our Matter integration. Therefore we entered our CSA-issued vendor ID (0x131c).
The ID is registered by the CSA and the Vendor Info is also present in DCL.

Clicking on "Verify VID" in the developer console results in

Can't verify. Please use your CSA-issued vendor ID.

Do we have to perform additional steps?

Hello  @Mitterd ,

Thanks for reaching out to us with your issue. Please refer to the following document to verify the vendor ID.

To verify your Connectivity Standards Alliance (Alliance)-issued Vendor ID (VID), you'll need to generate a transaction JSON file and run the command in the Google Home Developer Console.

Make sure you are doing this process on a machine with access to the dcld command line tool and the appropriate DCL account for your VID.

We have the same problem.

Our CSA-issued vendor ID is already on the CSA DCL, but we got the same error after clicking "Verify VID."

I tried to use another vendor's ID and could then go to the next step.

But I cannot go forward because it was not our VID.

How do we make the page identify our VID as a CSA-issued one?

Hi @SidHsu

I was able to perform the verification on 20th november.
As I did not make any changes to CSA or DCL I assume that there is another internal check by Google.

Best

Thank you for the information.

It makes sense that Google needs some time to update its internal database.

But it has been three weeks since I updated our vendor info to the DCL.

I hope to do the verification in the next few weeks.

I am having a similar issue. Out VID was on the DCL just last week. How long does it usually take for Google to update it's internal VID database?
