I'm attempting to use the Script Editor to send an assistant command to a Google Nest Hub. I was originally unable to select the hub from the Script Editor as it did not have a unique name (same name as another device in the room). I have since changed the name of the device in the Google Home app and this name change is reflected in the Google Home app and home.google.com under the devices section. However when I attempt to add it in the script editor it still has the old name and can't be utilised as it is not unique. I have rebooted the nest device and waited 24 hours however it still has the old name in the Script Editor. How do I get the Script Editor to reflect the new device name?

Hello,
The Script Editor can take time to sync with device name changes. Try these steps:
Force a refresh:
Alternative: Instead of selecting the device by name in Script Editor, try using the device selector and choosing it from the list - even with the old name showing, it should still target the correct device once you save and run the automation.
