Follow up notifications.

Hi there,

We are developing a smart lock for consumer use. We use cloud-to-cloud Google Actions in order to support commands such as unlock. It takes some time (say 20 seconds) for acknowledgements (e.g 'unlock successful) to reach to our server. We have a requirement that users should be notified once the server receives an acknowledgement. Notifications for smart home Actions is perfect for that. However, it's documentation suggests that ' Follow-up responses are only supported when device command requests are sent from smart speakers and smart displays.'

Now for mobile devices, lets say we ask Google Assistant to 'Unlock my lock'. The assistant replies 'Sure, unlocking smart lock'. Users will then have to manually ask assistant 'Is my lock locked?' to check if the command was successful.

The question is - is there any way for us to notify users when command requests are sent from Google Assistant app in mobile devices?

Thanks
