How many thread children device can Nest hub 2nd control via Matter over Thread?

Below URL specifies 511 devices. Can Nest hub 2nd control 511 children?

I understand that the number of connections for children varies depending on the communication quality of the network.

Would you please disclose design value of the maximum number of child nodes?

You can find out the maximum number of children  devices currently supported by your setup by using the childmax command through the otctl command line. More information about this command can be found here.
