Integration testing on mobile app

Hi,

While testing my integration on Google Pixel 10 Pro, I noticed that the Google Home app allows for seamless control of my IoT device via manual taps and buttons, but I am unable to find a way to issue voice commands directly within the app interface. The app on iPhone 15 Pro Max doesn't let me do that either.

Ask Gemini also says it cannot control devices and that I should use my device's app.

Please advise on how to move forward to test my integration that's now in-review to make sure voice commands come through correctly.

Google Pixel 10 Pro: Android 16, Google Home 4.11.56.1

iPhone 15 Pro Max: iOS 26.4.1, Google Home 4.14.53

Thanks for reaching out. To test voice commands, please use Google Assistant or the Google Gemini app.
Ensure you are signed in with the same Google account across all apps.
