We have smart lock which control by google action for lock and unlock

however we have also set up pinNeeded challenge but we need to know  is this optional is optional or its is necessary to set up pin

as per google documentation:

pinNeeded

The pinNeeded challenge is recommended for security devices.

This example shows an initial request and response with a pinNeeded challenge. The example returns a response with a pinNeeded challenge, so Assistant asks for the pin. At this point, the user can provide an incorrect or valid pin.

Hello @Tahaiqbal ,

  • The LockUnlock trait belongs to any device that supports locking and unlocking and/or reporting a locked state. Secondary verification is compulsory to be used with this trait.
  • The only limitation of secondary user verification is that it does not work with workspace accounts.

Unlock all app and account

Not sure if this is the correct place. I'm trying to automate an unlock action on a smart lock. eufy C30. When I create an action with the PIN, the response says "wrong format." Any ideas?

Thanks so much.

I have a smart lock from another brand, and it is linked to the Google Home app. Can I unlock my door without using the PIN code?
