How do I create an action where the "type:" is my Android mobile phone?
I would like to have my phone play an mp3 file (bing bong) when my Next doorbell is pressed.
I found some older ideas using Bing, but I assume that the automations syntax has changed since then. This is what I found ....
actions:
- service: media_player.play_media
target:
entity_id: media_player.my_android_phone
data:
media_content_id: "/storage/emulated/0/Ringtones/old_ringer.mp3"
media_content_type: audio/mpeg
(Sorry about the lack of formatting)
Any suggestions would be gratefully received

Hello @BruceEmsworth ,
Thanks a lot for reaching out to us with your request. Since this feature is not supported yet there aren't really any workarounds available through Google's Automations to get sounds to play on smartphones. Our platform does have a way to submit feedback and feature requests through the feedback button (https://screenshot.googleplex.com/9Z5AQXWFo6fsqQw) .
This will forward your request to the internal product team who can put it on the road map for future developments.
