I have 12 speakers located in my home app(1st Gen Minis mostly with a MAX/MAX Hub mixed in). They worked fine for years, Last weekend they stopped responding to "Ok Google" save one speaker in the Living Room. When I ask that speaker to play music in a speaker group only that speaker plays but if I manually go to Pandora and cast to the speaker group, all speakers will work. The speakers are active and have power and you can tap them to move the volume up and down.
Through troubleshooting, the first thing I tried was rebooting each device from the Home App. This works at first, after the reboot, everything works as it should with every speaker. About an hour after they all stopped responding again.
I then tried pulling the power from each device and plugging it back in. Same result.
If I unplug the Max speaker. No speakers react to ok google. Only my phone works at that point.
Other things I have tried:
-Resetting the router/wifi
-Clearing Cache from Home App
-Restarting Phone
Is there anything else I'm missing? This is quite the annoying little bug (Or maybe it's a feature I accidentally turned on?) Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi folks,
Thanks for reaching out and for being a step ahead of us. Try to create a new speaker group and observe if it makes a difference. Check out the helpful article below for more information.

Hi Juni,
I was able to solve the issue by manually removing every speaker in the house from the home app and then adding them back in. This took a little bit to do since I have 12 speakers
I also changed my speaker group to a new name and readded the speakers back to it.
After that everything seems to be up and running with no issues.
Quite the nasty little bug. Hope others aren't having the same issue.
Cheers,
Scott

Hello XavierLf,
Sorry to hear that. Could you tell us what type of Google Home or Nest device you have? To further isolate network issues, please try setting up your device using a mobile hotspot. Please note that you will need two mobile devices for this setup (one will serve as a router and the other to be used to set up your speaker).
Keep us posted.
Cheers.
