Automations - saved with errors

Hi all! New to Google Nest Home devices after having Alexa for years.

Now setting up all the automations/triggers we had with Alexa on our new Google Nest Mini Gen 2

I have tried to set up a broadcast once per week to remind us to put the bins out, however I am getting the error "Automation Saved with Error/s" and it auto sets to Inactive but there is no indication what the error is

I have another automation that triggers with a command and the actions are device settings and this one is saved with no problems. I have also tried the Broadcast without the schedule (just chose a "hey google" option to see if it would save and it did.

So seems to be an issue with the schedule setting specifically

Any ideas what I can do?

I think you are using the Early Access version of Google Home. This means not everything is fully functional yet.

"Automation Saved with Error/s" usually indicates that a part of the automation that is required to complete it is missing or you've added too many or conflicting items.

Make sure you have "Do not disturb" disabled on the speaker.

You can still use the previous version of Google automations by searching on Android "Open Assistant Routines"

  • (If you've still got an Amazon Echo speaker Alexa Reminders is better as you can get an SMS text as well)

Thank you, I will have a look into this. Could this be related to the Early Access for Gemini that I've sighed up to?

Yep. It's in a sort of beta testing.

Check that the Google Home app is up to date. I'm at version 4.1.55.1

I made a broadcast automation and it worked with scheduling. I have it set for hourly and it displays my upcoming broadcasts on the automation page.
