Been having problems resetting my Google Home, any help?

Yo, def need some help here. Been trying to setup my Google Home that I left in some random place for 1 year after getting the new one with the screen and I’ve been trying to set it up again but just like anything else in life, I’ve been having issues with it. So basically, it won’t show up in the app anymore. It’s pretty much unresponsive to anything I say, and I’ve been trying to reset it by reading everything that it says to do to so that I can factory reset it but nothing’s working. The hold-the-mute-button-for-15-seconds method isn’t working and the other method, which was to unplug the home for 10 seconds and then plug it in again for like 9 or 10 times isn’t working. Obviously, I’m thinking that this thing is totally bricked and I can’t do anything about it but I’m still asking for help on here to see if anybody got some solutions. Thanks
