Broadcasting a message - What's the value

When I ask to broadcast a message the Google replies "what's the value". It won't stop requesting a value until you turn it off. Started happening last week.

Hi jaxstraww,
 

Strange! Let’s further look into it. Try to do the troubleshooting steps below:

 

  • Open the Google Home app > Devices > Choose your Google Home device > Settings > Remove device > Remove.
  • Back in the Devices button, scroll down to Other cast/Local devices > Tap your Google Home device > Add to a room. Follow the instructions in adding it back to a room.
  • Unplug your Google Home device’s power cord for a minute > Plug back in.
  • Try to broadcast a message again.
