Broadcasts fail since March '25 across entire house. Nest Mini (2nd)*8, Nest Hub (2nd)*2.

If I or any of my family (some with, some without voices recognised/saved) initiate a broadcast from any of the 8 nest mini (2nd gen) or from the nest hubs (2nd gen), or from a mobile phone (Android), the response is, "Broadcasting now..", following this some speakers make the initial chime, some do not and then stop. No broadcast is made. At this time, the nest hubs display a text version of the broadcast message on the screen, but no actual broadcast.

All members of my family, each have their own gmail accounts in my family, 2 do have their voices configured and recognised,  2 do not. We all experience this failure. All ten devices in the house fail to broadcast. All devices are on the same network and domain. No manual changes have been made in the past month by me or my family to the network, to the hubs or to our mobile phone apps. Unless I am convinced otherwise, the fault can't be with each of our mobile apps, can ti, given the description or the fault?

The speakers and hubs work fine for everything else, playing internet radio, creating diary entries, reminder/tasks, etc.

The nest speakers are on system firmware 456944 and cast firmware 3.75.456944.

The nest hub displays are on system firmware 24.20241009.103.1900601 and cast firmware 3.76.448685.

Can anyone provide advice given the specifics of this fault?  The only common denominator I can think of is the'internet', ie. Google's servers. But I'm very happy to take the blame if the fault can be identified. Do broadcasts even work via their central servers, or are they managed internally to a home, I don't know.
