Can't access speakers away from home

So me and my partner have both always been able to connect to all smart devices in our home (2 nest mini's, 1 hub, 1 doorbell and a camera) I recently upgraded my phone from a pixel 7 to a pixel 9 and can no longer access the speakers / hub when not on WiFi but can still access the doorbell and camera, my partner however still has full access even when not on WiFi.

Anyone know how I can resolve this, I have factory reset the devices and reconnected them to my account and I have left the household on the home app and rejoined but nothing has worked.

Hi, @Razza12003,

Thank you so much for reaching out to the community. I’m truly sorry you cannot access the speaker when you are away from home. I’m happy to help!

Thank you so much for all the troubleshooting steps you have taken.

To effectively troubleshoot, please provide the following information:

  • When you are at home, are you able to see the speakers on the app?
  • Are you the homeowner? If not, do you have full access to the products? If you don’t have full access to the products, the home owner can send you an invitation following the steps to invite a home member in this article: Share a home and devices in the Google Home app.
  • Do you have any existing actions with the speakers? Refer to this article to check out this information: Change the settings for Home and Away routines

This information will help me to provide you with accurate troubleshooting steps. Thank you so much for your cooperation.

Keep me posted.

Best regards,

Ana
