Can't connect a mini after a move

Just moved to New house & mini will not connect to wifi

Hey Kaw2,

 

Thanks for bringing this up. I know how difficult it is when your Google Home device is not connecting to your network. A few questions -- is this a first time setup or the device has been connected to the same network before? What type of network connection do you have? (public or private network) What message are you getting when you try to connect your device to your network? 

 

  1. Make sure that mobile data is off.
  2. Move your Google Home/Nest device within 15-20 ft. away from the router to get enough signal from your network.
  3. Reboot your Google Home/Nest device and router by disconnecting them from the power source and leave them unplugged for 1 minute. Once done, plug them back one at a time with intervals.
  4. Turn WiFi on and off on the mobile setup device.
  5. Try to use a different phone and see if you will have the same issue.
  6. If it is still the same, factory reset your device.
