Can’t connect spotify

Hi guys! I’m having trouble connecting my Spotify account to the google home app on iOS. When I chi to add services > music > Spotify > continue, it al seems to be working fine. It opens the Spotify app that I am now logged into using the same gmail email address and has a little pop up that says “authorising” which changes to a tick, but then… nothing. It doesn’t change to a different screen or flick back to the google home app. If I go back to the home app myself it’s back to the linking page and I’m just going around in circles without the 2 connecting. Spotify can recognise the nest mini as a speaker and play through it but I just can’t link the accounts. Any suggestions?

Thanks for reaching out. I know how relaxing it is to listen to your favorite songs using your Google Nest Mini. I'd love to help you with your concern. To confirm, are there other Spotify accounts linked to the Nest Mini? Based on your descriptions, it looks like your Spotify account is already linked since your speaker was able to play music on Spotify. Please try to force close the Google Home app from your phone, then relaunch it to check if it's still the same.
