Can't find any device when trying to cast music

I have an Honor Magic Pro 8 (international version). I can't see any of my devices when trying to cast music from any app (tried YouTube music and apple music). I have another android device with YouTube music installed and I can cast from there to all my devices (nest hub, Samsung TVs and other speakers). It's just my Honor phone that can't seem to find any device. I've tried clearing cache from google play services, uninstalling updates, clearing all data, checked permissions for each app, logged out and back in from my google account. Can't seem to get it working.

This is likely a compatibility issue with Honor’s software (MagicOS) affecting Google Cast discovery. Make sure Location, Wi-Fi scanning, and Nearby Devices permissions are enabled, and disable battery optimization for Google Play Services. If it still doesn’t work, it’s probably a system-level limitation—some Honor devices have inconsistent Cast support.

same smartphone and same problem, did you resolve it?

Nope, haven't found a solution. In the meanwhile what I did is use Spotify. Most of my devices have Spotify connect and that's a separate service from Google cast. Tidal has Tidal connect as well, choose one of those for now
