Hello,
My issue is that now when google assistant is responding to me his voice is played by my bluetooth speaker. Before only the music was played through my bluetooth speaker and all the talking with the google assistant was coming from my google nest hub speaker. How can I split music playing only on my bluetooth speaker and google voice only on my nest hub ?
Thank you

Hi Pandor91,
This is not the experience we want you to have; let us help you. A few questions: which Nest speakers and Bluetooth speakers are we working with? Do you have a Nest Hub or Nest Hub (2nd gen)? When did the concern start happening?
All media playback will play on the external speaker or headset that’s paired with the Google Nest or Google Home device. Alarms, timers, and Google Assistant responses will still play on Google Nest and Google Home devices.
It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first:
Once done, let’s unpair and repair your Bluetooth connection. Here’s how to unpair:
Pair them back:
Let us know how it goes.
Best,
Dan

Hello Dan,
Thank you for your answer.
My device is a google nest hub 2nd gen
The timer is well played on the google nest but not when google assistant is talking back.
I tried every steps you mentioned but the google assistant responses are still being played on my bluetooth speaker whereas I would like his responses to be played on the google nest and only the music on my bluestooth speaker. The first time I saw it happens was in Jully.
Thank you
Best regards

Hello Pandor91,
We appreciate your efforts. Just an added question: what is the make and model of your Bluetooth speaker? Does it have a built-in Google Assistant?
Looking forward to your response.
Cheers,
Muddi

Hello Muddi,
It's a JBL bar 5.1 it doesn't have google built in. It's just a regular Bluetooth speaker.
Thank you

Hi there,
I appreciate your quick response. To confirm, have you tried resetting your Nest Hub? Also, what is the current firmware version of your Nest Hub?
Cheers,
