Can't play my songs through YouTube Music

mattb1993

I am trying to play songs from my YouTube Music library on my Nest Audio - when asking Google to "Play my songs", I get songs which are not in my library. How do I tell Google to play only my music which I've added to my songs library?

Thanks in advance.

Hi mattb1993,

Thanks for posting.

Sorry to hear about your experince with your Google Nest Audio. A few things I'd like to ask -- do you have a premium YouTube account? Also, has this been workking before? If yes, when did you notice the changes?

Let's go ahead and try these commands to see if it works.

  • "Ok Google, play rock music from YouTube"
  • "Ok Google, play <song name> from YouTube"
  • "Ok Google, play <artist name> from YouTube"

Note: If you've turned on Voice Match, it will verify your identity before it plays your personal playlists or liked songs.

Your speaker or display may take several hours to recognize a newly-created private playlist.

Let me know how it goes.

Best,

Princess
