Hello. I have been having several issues with my Google Next Mini (Gen 2). I have two separate speakers (kitchen and bedroom) and then I created a group (Apartment Speakers) for those devices. Several playback issues started occurring (not recognizing the group, allowing me access to the bedroom speaker, etc. I have tried everything I can think of (rebooting the speakers, factory resets on the speakers, uninstall/reinstall Google Home, uninstall/reinstall the Google app, uninstall/reinstall Google Assistant, rebooting my phone, checking my phone's current software updates, etc.). I have done these (and more) multiple times. I am at the point now, when resetting and reinstalling/reconnecting my kitchen speaker, it gets part of the way there. During that process, I get stuck where Google Home insists that I "update the Google app". I have done that several times. I can find no way of getting around this. Whether I select "not now" or "update", I cannot get past this point in the process.
If anyone out there has any ideas, I would love to hear them. I am stuck dead in the water and cannot get either of my Nest Mini devices connected and back online. Thank in advance for your time and consideration. CHEERS.

Hi TravelAGoGo,
Thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing significant inconvenience with your Google Nest Mini (2nd gen) devices, specifically with playback issues when grouped and being stuck on an 'update the Google app' prompt during setup. I appreciate all the troubleshooting steps you've already taken. It's certainly frustrating when devices don't connect as expected. I'm here to help!
To isolate the root cause of this issue, I have some questions for you:
I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
