Cannot cast from youtube app to speaker group

When i am in the youtube app on an android device i have no option to cast the audio to a speaker group called "all speakers", also i cannot cast the audio to a single speaker from the youtube app. I can only cast to a single speaker with the audio casting feauture from the home app. When i am on my windows pc in Chrome I can cast the youtube tab without any problems to my speaker group... Why is the functionality to cast youtube audio from an android phone not available??

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulties casting from YouTube to your Nest speakers using an Android phone. Don't worry, let's work together to get this fixed. To help me with that, I have a few questions:

  • What is the make and model of the phone you're using to cast?
  • Does the issue occur with other apps?
  • Have you already tried resetting your phone?
