Cant get speaker group to work

When i create a speaker group with my Nest hub and a Google home speaker the audio will not play in both speakers, only in the Google home device. If I however cast any sound to my Nest hub only it plays without problems.

 

I have tried factory resetting both devices and readding them to Google home but that did not help.

 

Any ideas on how to fix?

Thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear about your experience with your Google Nest Hub and Home speaker. Let's dig deeper into this. A few questions: when did the issue start? How far are the devices from the router?

 

Please try these steps below:

 

  1. Move your Google Home and Nest device within 15-20 ft. away from the router to get enough signal from your network.
  2. Reboot your Google Home and Nest device and router by disconnecting them from the power source and leave them unplugged for 1 minute. Once done, plug them back one at a time with intervals. Once done, check if you will have the same issue.
