Casting and clock issues

Everything worked perfectly until about a month ago. I thought maybe my unit was no longer working so I went out and bought a brand new unit and it is doing the exact same things. This is very frustrating.

Issue 1 - when I go to bed I like to stream SiriusXM. Normally once it started playing, after a few seconds the screen would dim and show the clock. Now it stays stuck on the SiriusXM song screen showing what song is playing, remains at full brightness and never returns to the clock. This is no good when trying to sleep. If I tell google to return home it shuts the music off.

Issue 2 - since issue 1 started, I started casting SiriusXM from my Samsung Galaxy phone. No issues, it would play and return to the clock. Now, I cannot cast SiriusXM at all. I’ve tried with my phone and my iPad and in all instances the screen gets stuck of the SiriusXM logo and never plays anything.

I unplugged the device, rebooted the device, unlinked accounts, rebooted my router, bought a whole brand new Google Nest and cannot get the thing to work correctly. This is very disappointing.

Are there any fixes to these issues or am I out of luck? Pretty disappointing since everything did work just fine until recently.
