I recently upgraded my phone (in the last week) from Samsung Galaxy S10 to the S23. When I used to ask my Google Home mini to find my phone, it would automatically respond "Your Galaxy S10 should be ringing now" and it did! Worked like a charm. After some initial issues with it not locating the new phone and still trying to contact the old one (thanks for all the other threads for help with this!) I got it to reliably find my new S23.
The issue I'm having now though is that every time I ask it "Hey Google, find my phone" (and I've also tried "Call my phone") she gives me this long-winded secondary prompt "I can help by making your Galaxy S23 ring on full volume right away. Would you like me to do that?". Anyone know if there's a way to stop it from asking that secondary question and just going back to the immediately finding it the way it used to work?

Hi Dan,
Yes, I've done all of that and it works fine. I'm just wondering why my Google Home Mini is requesting additional verification to send a notification to my phone which it didn't use to do with my S10.
Thanks!

Actually, don't know what changed (maybe playing the sound through that website first??) but it's working now like it used to. Thanks for your assistance!
