Child circumventing lockouts on nest hub by using speaker in other room

So very bright boy has figured out how to go to the nest speaker in the master bedroom and ask it to play youtube videos on the hub in the kitchen. No amount of restrictions seems to be able to stop this from happening. Can I be guided through the settings to stop him from doing this or is this some sort of loophole I can not control? We had to remove the hub from the kitchen, which makes recipe cooking and grocery list adding rather inconvenient.

Hi kingbuzzie,

Thanks for reaching out. I understand that you're looking for a solution to prevent your child from continuing to use the Nest Hub in the kitchen, and I'm happy to help! I recommend turning on the Voice Match feature. This helps your device recognize only your voice or other voices you need to add. You can add Voice Match to all your Google speaker devices or to a specific device. Please visit Turn on voice recognition with Voice Match to find all the information you need to activate this feature and other functions.

I hope this helps!

Regards,
Manuel
