Closed Captions in Hub Mode (Pixel Tablet)

One feature on Nest Hub that is very useful for me as a Deaf person, is the closed captions. Anytime I ask Assistant a question by using phone’s voice to speak, the Assistant will respond with CC on. 

Now having a Pixel Tablet and Hub mode activated, the CC is missing! Even with Live Captions on, it doesn’t activate. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
