Cracking and popping on Google Nest Mini

Within the last few months, my Google Nest Mini has started making cracking and popping noises WHILE playing music from YouTube Music. I have tried every possible solution found online, including factory resetting it. Nothing has changed. It isn't consistent, meaning it doesn't happen every song, but it happens more than 80% of the time while I am listening to music during my workday - and it is annoying. Has anyone had this issue? Or success in fixing it without purchasing a new speaker?

Just as an update... It's ONLY when playing music from YouTube Music, and I am a premium member. If I play music via other methods, or use Bluetooth to watch something from my tablet, it's fine.

I've only noticed it while playing YouTube Music on my device, so I had been playing music via Bluetooth instead. I'll check after the weekend and let you know

Hello, I have had the same issue for a few months now. I finally called and received a replacement mini. The new mini is doing the same thing. I have tried listening to music thru spotify and YouTube but it still continuously pops and cracks.

I am having this same problem.  I frequently use an app called Better Sleep at night & it will randomly do the cracking/popping noise all night. 😞
