DATE, time, weather

I've been using Chromecast for a little over three years now and love it's graceful relationship with my Android devices.  I really haven't fully utilized NEST as my Hub accessing my streaming content, but I've used it more of a Master Controller handling apps and devices.  It has been a "lifeline" trouble shooting and problem solving between Android apps and my devices.  One of the truly underappreciated components to  NEST is the screensaver and it's controls.  It is probably one of the most visible points of contact within my living space.  It currently displays random photos I have taken and it displays the time and local weather.  However, I'm not sure if I missed something in having the date (month, day, year) display along with the current screensaver provided in NEST.

Is there anything I can do to have the date included with the NEST app screensaver?

Thank you in advance for you help and support!

Hey there,
Sorry for the late response, but I wanted to drop in here to help.

I understand that these issues can be confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this?

Please let me know.

Best regards,

Of course! I dig some digging around in the Chromecast Ambient Mode settings, and it doesn't look like there is an option for Ambient Mode to display the date. This is something that would be a good option to have on a screensaver, so if you have the time, I'd recommend that you submit feedback via Google Home to let the higher-ups at Google know that this is something you'd like to see.

I'm sorry I couldn't have been more help, but if you had any other questions or concerns, I'd be happy to address them.

Best regards,

Jeran
