Device removed from home

Hi,

I have a couple of devices in my home, I keep getting notifications that a device  was removed by my partners email address. He had been with me while I’ve watched this occur. Not sure if this is a glitch or security issue? Even though we changed all passwords and setup 2 step authentication.  

any and all help is appreciated please 

It’s pretty frustrating that something is accessing our emails somehow and removing the device for no apparent reason.

Same problem here, deleted five devices. I talked to someone at Google last night about it. I was told it was something related to an update Google was running and would be fixed shortly. Well, 18 hours later it’s still not working. Hopefully someone will offer you some help that might work for my situation as well.

A few questions: what devices are disconnecting from your home? Are you using a private and secure network? Also, are you using a regular Google Account. 

 

Try uninstalling and reinstalling your Google Home app and rebooting your devices might work too.

Thank you for reaching out @Azarco , the problem with the google home app and platform is that it will NOT tell you which device was removed, when you go into the details on the activity log it just provides you a list of all your devices and not specific ones. 
yes, I am using a private and secure network, I am also using a regular google account, not business, not school If that is what you were referring to. 

I have rebooted all devices and did all the usual uninstall and reinstall of the app, 

 

I have experienced also that my devices such as my google home mini speakers, the lights turn on as if it was listening when nothing was said or a command was not given.

Thanks for the update. How many members do you have in your home structure? Could you provide us the cast firmware version of your speaker and the version of your Google Home app?

Thank you for the assistance and taking care of my form. Why would we lock the post if others also are experiencing issues? From a IT perspective wouldn’t it make sense to leave it open to gather data and help you or google pin point what the issue is?
