I have recently purchased a new fan from Duux and I have linked the fan to my google account for assistant controls. I am having an issue with controlling the fan through the google home app.
The google home app only has the ability to turn on and off the fan. However, the nest hub 2nd Gen I own, has far more control, such as speed (1-26) and mode (Normal, nature and sleep).
Is there any reason why the hub would have more options than the google home app? Is this a glitch with the app?
I also have the issue where my fan will not show up as an option in routines but have seen other people are having similar issues. Does the app have issues with fans in general?

Hey Zns,
Thanks for reaching out. Please note that some of the actions via voice command may not be available on the Google Home app. This restriction is dependent on our partners on how they wanted the Google Home/Nest speakers and display to control their devices. We're always looking for ways to improve, and we'll take this as feedback — we'll pass it along to the team. I also suggest that you send any feedback you might have using your devices by saying, "Hey Google, send feedback." Follow the steps on this link to learn more.
Let me know if I can assist with anything else, otherwise I’ll be locking this thread after 24 hours.
Cheers,
Muddi
