Don’t get link app button on music to add any services

Under music my music services does not show any available services and it shows as a default option of No default and description says use other accounts preferences on shared devices. I do not have link button to link any other services originally I had two accounts connected to my Google Home. I removed one of them even then it did not give me an option to link new services. This has been over two years of frustration, and I really hope that somebody helps me out with this.

  1. What is the music service that you are trying to link?
  2. Do you have any subscriptions with that music service?

I have two family subscriptions one for apple music and another you tube music. 
You tube music is under same email address that my google home is set up under too.

Hi there!

 

Thanks for your reply. Here you will find the steps about how to add a music service to your Google Home App.

 

  1. Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi network or linked to the same account as your speaker or display.
  2. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  3. Tap Settings
  4. Under "Services," tap Music.
  5. To choose your default service, tap the music service you'd like to use. Assistant will use this service when you say “Hey Google, play music.”
  6. If your music service isn't listed, make sure you've download the app and signed in.
  7. Under More music services, you can link and unlink other available services. Tap a service to link or unlink it.

I’m doing all steps in beginning till step 5. My apps don’t list under music, neither i have “link” option under More. Hence this thread. I wish i could attach the screenshot so i can explain more clearly! I am IT professional so i have the know how to set up settings. But it’s just not displaying app or the link app option!

No I did fill out the form and send them email, if i get any more information about this, i will let you know. But for a big brand like this to have this pathetic support system is very disheartening.
