When I ask my google nest hub 2 a question or request an action it will respond as appropriate, but after a long delay 5-10 minutes, google assistant on my Galaxy S21 will answer the same question or perform the action that has already been actioned 5-10 minutes ago on the nest hub.
As a result I'm getting unwanted and inappropriate blurt outs from Google assistant on my phone. For example I set a timer for 10minutes on the Nest Hub which begins counting down. 5 minutes later, without prompting, Google assistant will announce on my phone, okay setting a timer for 10 minutes, and it will start counting down.
I am logged into the same Google account on both devices and this has been happening for the past couple of months.
It's driving me insane.

Hey folks,
Thanks for sharing details about the issue here. I know how frustrating it is when you're having an issue with your devices - we're here to help.
A few questions: when did the issue start? How far is your phone when you say a command to your Google Nest Hub (2nd gen)? How often does it happen? How many Google Home/Nest speakers do you have? Also, what are the steps that you've done so far?
I'll wait for your response.
Cheers,
Muddi

Hi I have the same problem.
Nest hub 2 and galaxy S21. The phone is next to the hub and will answer 5 minutes after the Hub has already responded!
