Hi all!
I when I have a broadcast or family bell on my smart speakers there are large delays between the different speakers and the announcement may repeat up to 5 times but it's usually between 2 & 3 times.
It sounds like multiple echoes occurring with a 0.5 to 3 second delay (estimated) and most of the time I can't understand it, especially if my daughter uses it to broadcast her voice.
Playing music on all of the speakers does not have any delay/echo issues. Casting from my phone or asking the speakers to play something sounds great with the exception that it sometimes stops for no apparent reason.
At one point I factory reset all of the speakers but it made no difference.
My setup is as follows
3 x Wi-fi 5 Grandstream GWN 7610 access points all on the same network hard wired back to a PoE+ switch.
All wireless network traffic is 5 Ghz
Network is a vlan.
Internet connection: IPv4 , 1000 Mbps Down / 30 Mbps up DOCSIS 3.1 on Broadcom chipset (modem is only capable of bridging).
Firewall/Router is PFSense on the intel platform.
Basement:
1 x Access Point
2 x Google Mini
1 x Nest Mini
1 x Nest Audio
Ground Floor:
1x Access Point
4 x Nest Mini
1 x Nest Audio
1 x Chromecast TV
Second Floor:
1x Access Point
3 x Nest Mini
2 x Nest Mini joined together.
1 x Nest Audio
Any assistance would be appreciated. I can not figure out what is causing this. I have found one other reference to this type of behaviour but, without a solution.
Thanks!

Just set up the Nest doorbell... it has an echo when speaking into it as the person ringing the bell. Android phone for Google Home app.
