Emergency Weather Alerts

After the recent string of tornados in the US South, emergency weather alerts are a priority. I was surprised that no emergency alerts appears/notified on my Google Hub/Nest devices. I have several legacy Amazon Echo devices that all notified for the emergency weather in my area. I'm speaking of Tornado or Severe Thunderstorm alerts specifically. After several hours of research, don't understand how to enable on my Google devices.
