For those struggling to pair speakers I found a solution.

I was having issues when i paired my google home max speakers they would appear to pair find then would report that they were unable to connect when trying to cast. Also the right speaker would also appear to need to be set up again and i would also be unable to delete or separate the stereo pair.

Seen similar posts on here but nobody managing to get it working.. also those threads are all locked for some reason despite not being resolved... Sort it out google!

I figured that some data had got corrupted so i deleted the whole home and re-added the already set up speakers to the new home, they were not in a pair but they paired fine and now work. 

So deleting the home and creating a new home appears to be he the solution... Delete corrupted home data and start again.. a bit annoying as i have loads of devices... But glad it works!

 despite deleting the house all my old groups appear to still be sticking around though.. can we fix some bugs please google?
