Frequently my Google speakers seem unaware of each other or are communicating poorly

I currently have seven active Google home speakers/displays in my house, using just one wifi network and one "home". (This includes 1st gen. Home, Mini and Display devices, and one other brand of device). It often happens that I give some command (e.g., turn on the hallway light) and that command will be carried out, however one or more of the speakers/displays will then say something like, "Something went wrong. Try again in a few seconds"  -- apparently unaware that the command was successfully acted upon.  As if one (or some) of the speakers/displays is unaware of the other(s) or is failing to communicate properly.  Any idea what's going on here?  Or how to fix this?  It's happening frequently and is rather irritating.  I think it's also slowing down implementation of my verbal instructions, which often seems to take an inordinate amount of time.  Thanks.

Hey Bammerman,

Thanks for visiting the Community.

Since this thread hasn't had activity in a while, we're going to close it to keep content fresh.

We hope you were able to get the help you need but if you're still having trouble, give resetting the affected Nest devices a try. If the issue persists, feel free to submit another post and provide as many details as possible so that others can lend a hand. Hope this helps!

Best,
Alex
