I have 2 Google Nest Audio (the big speaker, not the mini). For both, I had the same problem, with a time gap between them, that many others have had. If it's turned off, it won't turn back on. Nothing can be done, you just have to throw it away! I don't accept this solution, it's a disgrace. Many others have this problem, and evidently, something in the power protection doesn't work when it’s plugged back in. I don’t accept excuses or solutions like throwing it away. I spent 180 euros on these 2 devices, and I want them to work properly.
I DO NOT accept useless solutions, I want a free replacement! Immediately!
tell me how proceed to have back 2 working devices, no warrantye excuses these device are FAULTY!

I have the exact same problem today March 23rd 2025. The speaker is not working, it just stopped working, no lights, no response. I disconnected it from the power supply, waited a few minutes and connected it back again, but it will not turn back on. I tested the power supply with my multimeter, and I get 24V so the powers supply is not an issue, the device simply stopped working... absolutely ridiculous...

Exactly, it's not an issue with my power supply—everything I own has been working for years except for the two Google Nest Speakers. I turned the first one off before going on vacation, and when I returned, it wouldn't turn back on, even though nothing had happened. The second one stopped working yesterday after I moved it from one room to another. The power adapter works fine.
Clearly, these devices have a defect—one that hundreds of other people have also reported—that causes them to stop working or short-circuit after a normal shutdown and restart. This issue is causing me serious problems because I control my entire home with these speakers, and I want them working again.
This is not a user-related problem—they are defective, and Google must be aware of it. They should have issued a recall, but they haven't. I want a replacement.
